Facilities Requiring Mandatory Protection
We have the experience and adequate resources to ensure security for entities listed in the register of areas, facilities, and equipment subject to mandatory protection, including critical infrastructure.
In accordance with the Act on the Protection of Persons and Property, we provide direct physical protection (permanent or ad hoc), involving continuous monitoring of signals transmitted, collected, and processed by electronic devices and alarm systems. We also provide services such as escorting cash and other valuable or dangerous items.
We also provide technical protection, including the installation of electronic devices and alarm systems that signal threats to protected persons and property, as well as their operation, maintenance, and repair at the place of installation, along with the installation, maintenance, repair, and emergency opening of mechanical security devices.
Task supervision is carried out on multiple levels. Within the security structure of a protected facility, units responsible for supervision are designated, such as Post Commander, Patrol Commander, Shift Commander, and Facility Commander (Head of Security). All alarm signals are monitored by the Armed Intervention Station (USI) at the Alarm Monitoring Center (CMA), which, in case of threat, dispatches the nearest Intervention Group to the facility to prevent criminal acts.
A security plan is developed for each facility. This plan is coordinated with the Administrative Proceedings Department of the Provincial Police Headquarters (KWP). In matters concerning terrorist threats, the security plan — including the anti-terrorism annex — is also approved by the territorially competent Director of the Regional Office of the Internal Security Agency (ABW). The security plan includes:
- a description of the facility,
- a threat level analysis,
- an assessment of the current security status,
- information on the specialized armed security unit,
- a description of the facility’s technical security measures,
- principles for organizing and implementing physical security.
Employees delegated to perform tasks under the Act on the Protection of Persons and Property have the necessary qualifications and training, such as: entry on the list of qualified security personnel, authorization to work with firearms, entry on the list of technical security personnel.
We also employ technical security designers and security auditors, who create security concepts to maximize safety and optimize the costs of protection.
